Beauty boosters are a type of dermal filler injected into the skin with microneedles to improve the skin’s hydration, glow, elasticity, and texture. This is not exactly comparable to traditional dermal fillers. Beauty boosters don’t increase volume or shape the face. Instead, they are injected into the skin using microneedling to improve the skin’s quality.
If you’re experiencing dry, dull or dehydrated skin, this is definitely a treatment suitable for you. The beauty booster also targets fine lines and wrinkles, scarring, dull and textured skin, and aging skin.
We start with properly cleansing the skin and apply numbing cream. It will take approximately 20 minutes for the product to work. We recommend getting acne/clogged pore extractions to be done to avoid extreme breakouts during your recovery period. Then, we microneedle the beauty booster into your skin.
You’ll see smoother, hydrated, brighter and healthier skin. The microneedling also boosts collagen production and improves scarring.
Women who are pregnant or breastfeeding are not the right candidates for this treatment. It’s highly recommended if you want to improve the quality and hydration of your skin.
For optimum results we recommend starting with 3 treatments at 4-week intervals. After these treatments are complete, you only need to maintain these results once or twice a year depending on your skin.
There is minimal recovery time for this treatment. The microneedling can cause tiny bumps on the surface of the skin which resolves within 24-48 hours. There’s also a chance of minor bruising to appear in areas of finer skin or where your skin is more sensitive. This resolves within 3-4 days. Makeup can be applied the following day, however, we recommend you wait 3 days prior to makeup application.
Results will become visible between 1-2 weeks after the treatment. However, most of our patients see results after 5-7 days.
It depends. Most of the laser treatments can not be performed the same day with injection treatments. For more details, please schedule a free skin consultation with our skin specialists.
We recommend stop using retinol and any other acids such as vitamin C during your skin’s recovery period. You can resume your regular skincare routine one week after.
You can return to your normal activities 24 hours after the treatment. Post treatment, avoid excessive sweating or working out and don’t cleanse your face in the evening.
