BodyGlow is an Intense Pulse Light (IPL) treatment that directs a highly-concentrated intense spectrum of light into the skin to detect pigment within the cells. This light searches for brown or red pigment that’s often caused by acne, distended blood vessels, or hyperpigmentation. All can be treated and corrected while boosting the overall collagen regeneration within the skin.
BodyGlow can be done on all skin types and skin conditions. However, oily and acne prone skin types are ideal candidates as the treatment tightens the pores and adds a radiance to the body.
BodyGlow is safe to use on all skin types and there is almost no pain associated with the treatment. The laser feels like a warm sensation on the skin.
There is no downtime required. We recommend you take it easy for the next 24 hours post procedure and avoid the sun. You may resume regular activities the following day. Your skin will be more sensitive to the UVA and UVB rays, please ensure to wear SPF at all times.
Results can last for 2-3 months, however, this really depends on your skin type and your at-home skincare regimen.
